Our Story

Blak Fig is a social enterprise café established by First Peoples’ Health and Wellbeing. All proceeds from the Café go back to Community – supporting health and wellbeing initiatives led by our clinics.
Blak Fig provides entry-level, on-the-job training opportunities and qualifications in hospitality for First Nations people.
Through mentoring programs and a culturally-safe workplace, we’re supporting local mob to overcome some of the barriers they may face on a pathway to long-term employment.
Keep an eye on our socials for trainee and job opportunities.
We are open to the public, providing great coffee and a delicious mix of fresh pastries, savory bites and native-inspired treats. We support local farmers, producers and suppliers.
We celebrate cooking, coffee-making, eating and learning together – centering the strengths of First Nations cultures and knowledge.
